The Las Cumbres Observatory is often just called LCO. LCO currently includes 18 powerful telescopes located around the planet in seven different countries. All these telescopes can be controlled with just a computer and the Internet, from anywhere in the world! They are particularly good at studying asteroids passing close to the Earth and exploding stars.
