The Hubble Space Telescope is the most famous observatory ever flown. Many of the stunning space photographs you see on TV and in magazines come from Hubble. The telescope was launched into orbit above Earth in 1990, since then it has travelled 5 billion km and snapped images of 30,000 cosmic wonders!
