The European Space Agency is also known as ESA. ESA includes 22 countries, which work together to send satellites and humans into space, and to explore the cosmos. ESA has carried out an amazing number of space missions already and has many more planned for the future. They help us understand out home planet, explore the planets of our Solar System and study the distant Universe.
